Welcome to the website of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic
Church located on the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA.
We are a family oriented parish, that glorifies the Holy
Trinity through the use of the
eastern rites of the universal church.
We are
members of the "Ruthenian Church."
Ruthenian Catholics are descended from those to whom
Saints Cyril and Methodius brought Christianity and the
Byzantine Rite in their missionary outreach to the
Slavic peoples in the ninth century. |
